Exchange Traded Contracts - Reporting Start Date postponed
Based on the need to ensure the consistent implementation of EMIR, ESMA considered that guidelines and recommendations should be developed in relation to ETD's - exchange traded contracts (futures & option contracts).
ESMA proposes to postpone the reporting start date for ETD's by one year until January 2015. The expected start date for OTC derivatives reporting remains at January 1, 2014.
